 Sheetal, owner of Maharani Jewels did such a quick and efficient job at appraising all of our jewelry. Since we recently purchased some jewelry abroad, we realized that some of our items may need to be scheduled separately from our regular house insurance policy and would require appraising.  

Sheetal was wonderful at educating us on the value of our pieces, and the condition each were in. She was also quick as there were many to evaluate.

Shortly after we had her appraise the bulk of the rings and necklaces, I lost a stone over the Christmas holidays in a ring that she had yet to look at. She was excellent at finding me the right Citroen to replace the one which I wore daily for 15 years.  In fact, she made the process lots of fun by pointing out the benefits and features of a variety of semi-precious stones and was patient with me as I chose the perfect gem.  That same week, I found the original stone and I had noticed that it was chipped. She was great at offering to inspect it to see if it could be salvaged and recut to be used in the future.  And even more so...very professional when she broke the news to me that my 5 carat Citroen was a fake! Yes, we had a good laugh, but 2 other professional jewelers never noticed this when it had been cleaned and resurfaced. 

Sheetal's  work is excellent! She is very kind and passionate about what she does and it shows in her repair work and designs as well as being engaging with her customers.  I highly recommend Maharani Jewels to those who want a long trusting relationship with their jeweler.

My wedding rings needed resizing so I took them to Sheetal at Maharani Jewels, based on the positive reviews here on Yelp.  I also showed her a few special items of my mother's to get an idea of value and what was needed to bring them back to life.  The rings were done very quickly and at a reasonable price, so I returned with the other jewelry for refurbishment and, in one case, rhodium-plating.  Every piece came back in mint condition, and the yellow-to-white gold conversion was stunning.  I would not hesitate to recommend her services!

Lauralei, Little Owen, and I met Sheetal at the Maharani office. Sheetal is a natural people person and immediately developed a rapport with all. She is warm, personable, bright and cheery and, as she was about to show us that she was an expert in customer service and an expert in the diamond and jewelry business.

Sheetal started with a thorough education in how diamonds were classified and showed us where we would get the most bang for buck in our diamond selection based on our personal criteria. The education was extremely eye-opening. She really took her time to make us feel comfortable. She answered all of our questions with attention to care and detail. Most importantly Sheetal was able to win our trust which is so important in an industry where Lauralei and I had both experienced deception.

I had a budget in mind and was expecting to be shown products slightly higher in price and absolutely expected to be up-sold. During her presentation Sheetal showed us a couple of clearance items which were beautiful. There was no talk of price at this time. Lauralei pointed out a ring that she absolutely loved. It had several good sized diamonds in a beautiful setting. Sheetal told me the cost and I was absolutely blown away. It was well within budget and looked like a million bucks.

All-in-all my experience with Sheetal and Maharani Jewels was extremely pleasing. The combination of Sheetal's personality, maturity, and spectacular product made our buying experience extremely positive. There was no sales manipulation as Sheetal was more focused on developing a lifetime client relationship rather than making a fortune on one purchase. I brought my wedding ring to Maharani Jewels to have the band repaired. Sheetal and her team repaired the ring quickly and it looks like new again. Her team examined the ring and said the claws were all ok and didn't need to be replaced. I took the ring into People's Jewellers for the band repair. Their quote came back really high - they said all the claws on the diamonds needed to also be replaced. Also they had the ring for about 4 weeks before I got it back! I declined their service and won't ever go there again. I felt like I was being scammed. Therefore, I would recommend Maharani Jewels to anyone!
