Established in 2003, Kimberly Process, which is a system that tracks diamonds from its very source to the markets where it is sold, has partnered with the industry, governments, NGO's, and the United Nations to prevent the trade of illegal diamonds. As a result, more than 99% of diamonds today are conflict-free.

At Maharani, all the diamonds we use originate from sources that are both ethical, as well as environmentally responsible. We only purchase diamonds through the largest and most responsible suppliers who, like Maharani, adhere to and enforce the strict standards established by the Kimberly Process.
